New country, new weather... New experiences.... :D

In every Portuguese, there’s always the spirit of adventure and Discovery!

With this type of weather:

It was time to try different things…

Some pictures captured the true moment of Science Events taking place:

It was not easy, but for the sake of Science, we have reached a final conclusion!

It’s freaking cold outside!!!

Back to business? Let's see... :D

Here I am... Almost 4 months of Erasmus have passed! But this time I wont promise anything... I wont promise to write a post everyday or that the posts will be all funny or interesting....

But I'll try to update it more often...and we will see what happens then :)

So, I was saying.. 4 months have passed! That means that I only have 6 months left... I miss it already!

But today I'll be short.. No big testaments about my feelings or anything else. Today I want to talk about food and the fellowship of the dinner :)

When I arrived here, my speciality was scrambled eggs and spaghetti... I most recognize that cooking was not my strong area (if one exists:P )
But where are Portugueses, there's always a way to learn how to cook...

Every night we bring together a lot of friends... 11 Portugueses, 1 German and 1 Italian. It’s really a big family... But don't worry... We don't seat all in the same table, so there's no problem with the unlucky 13 ;)

So, each day its 2 different person cooking for the others, and on the day before they have to wash the dishes :P

And, I must say...that cooking for so many is not easy! But its really a good experience.. Every night we want to do good things for the others, so we search our minds, use Google and also the old methods (or parents or grandparents still have the best recipes :P). What happens in the end? Always great food on the tables :)

I really think these events are one of the things will be more difficult to forget... So, I dedicate this post to all of the "fellowships of the dinner":

Alberto - Always sleeping, except when its time to eat!
Andre - Its not easy to stop playing computer to eat...but he do it for us!
Dário - Do you need anything? Call Dário!
David - When it comes to talk about Benfica, no one argues better!
Duarte - Favourite quote of him "Why eat, if we can have Warka Strong instead? "
Hugo - He likes to eat, but when its about washing dishes... :P
João - The peaceful guy... Except when the dinner is late!
Michelangelo - We tried to teach good Portuguese to him, but is favourite quote is still "GRANDES MAMAS"!
Nuno - Is some time absent at the dinner, but he has good reasons! ;)
Pedro - The best cooker of all us! Sometimes he even prepares great desserts for us!
Sabine - The feminine presence on our table... Without here it would not be the same!
Tiago - He speaks calmly, but he eats fast!

And also I cannot forget them... Some times we have special guests, Paulina and Isa... But they are already committed with Andre and Tiago, so don't even think about it ;)

To finish... I'd like to say that it is now -12ºC. A little bit cold, but it allows pictures like these:

See you all soon ;)
