I know a long time has passed since I updated this page. I want to apologise to everybody… I hope I’ll update it more often now.
Today it’s the 2 weeks anniversary of my arrival :) To celebrate it, here are some photos of my departure and arrival:
(this one is for Portuguese people only :P I got to love the airport security, that reminds me I can’t take things like machineguns and other heavy weaponry inside the plane!)

Next… I got to say I was quite surprised in the night of departure… A lot of my friends went there to certify I was really leaving the country! Rumours also say that a big party was made after the plane took off!
Here are some photos of my amazing friends :)

ohh.. And by the way, we also found a lost bag in the airport terminal… anyone lost a package with bombs inside? :p

Its time to continue with my great friend photos :)

Someone is always on the mobile phone ;)

Hummm… There’s someone missing I think! Who is it? Can’t see whom…
Ohhh.. I remember now :) My dear parents :P love you…

All of they wanted to see the proof of me going out for real…
Here it is!

Did I mention yet I had 45Kg of luggage? Only 25 extra Kg….

Here it is… One of my last chances to give up on my voyage… (Will I be able to move on to the “next step”?)

Of course I did :) I already told you I’m here for two all weeks :P
And here it is…the final goodbye! I have to say I was quite “touched” at this time…Till soon I hope… but not too soon! ;)

My plane… It looks quite old, but fortunately for me it worked!

For all the geocachers fans… I was right here:

The arrival:
My photo session almost ends here... I guess you are all tired of seeing so many photos by now! So, let’s talk a little bit.
And here I was... On a foreign country and alone… Quite a sensation I have to admit! A mist of scare and excitement. The first thing I thought was… “I must be crazy!” It’s 6a.m, its dark, I have 45Kg of luggage and I know no one! Then I remembered… My bags! I must go and get them! There’s no time to think now…
So I went for them, grab them, saw a cab and said: “Central Station please”. And at that point I knew I could do it... I could survive in Poland if I wanted and had the wish for it. And I must say it to you.. I wanted it a lot!
After that everything was easy… At the station I bought a train ticket to Poznan and went to the train gate… When i arrived there I had some problems knowing in which carriage I had to seat, but then I started to see how friendly polish people are! A nice woman saw my despair and in English explained it to me :)
The trip was long, 3 hours I think, but I was in a nice cabin with 5 polish people so I decided I could rest for a while without the afraid of being robbed.
When I woke up... This was the view from my window:

At poznan train station I got a taxi and he brought me directly to the place where I’m staying at: Its called Dom Studencki 1.
The first thing I’ve done was trying to make myself at home :) I brought some special gifts from some special people… I don’t need to mention who… ;)

This is the view from my room: And Paulo, you should come here.. A lot of trains and mini skirts to see :P (private joke, sorry ;) )

One strange thing I noticed on my arrival is that there are no gulls (gaivotas) here, but instead there are a lot of crows! My grandparent will love to see them, they are so big!

And for now I think its enough…If someone has read all of this and didn’t get bored, congrats!
In my next posts I’ll show you all how fortunate I was, because I already met some wonderful people :) And ok. I’ll also describe how my life has changed now… So… be tuned! Don’t miss the next episodes :)
A big hug and kisses for everybody!
